Arts Alleys

There is a lot of great public art in Detroit. Many of which you may not see unless you get off the beaten path. Something we as runners are good at doing!

There is a new arts project launching. Over several weeks in June and July the City will be opening 9 new Arts Alleys and we want to challenge you to go visit as many as you can.

So, we’ve got a $100 gift card for the 1^st person to visit all 9. We’ve got a $50 gift card for the first two people to visit any 7 of them.

Here's the fine print. You can spread your visits out over multiple days and get to the neighborhoods however you choose (bike, car, teleportation), but must complete 1 mile on foot at each location to validate each Arts Alley. Take a picture of each Arts Alley you visit and proof of your mile, like a screenshot of your Garmin or Strava activity. Once you’ve collected your Arts Alleys, post them all in one post to Facebook or Instagram and tags us. You can message us to be sure we see it for good measure.
